As you know, AOI is a device to inspect defectives from images taken by the camera. It is common that using AOI to inspect PCB, many people hold the same point of view as other general machines and devices.

 

[Sensory Subsitution]

Instead of using the fifth sense (the eyes) of human being; nowadays the invention AOI with sophisticated technology has replaced our fifth sense to make logic judgments and decisions. Thus, when users are handling AOI, users must clearly understand how to use it correctly as well as judging those decisions made are good or bad.

 

[Unconscious]

Humans are so unconscious to detect defectives and collect important information from images and then determine necessary decisions or judgments. However, we could judge if we watch from different angles, under a bright position, we could make appropriate judgments. People could be or has not fully paid attention on inspection, but with AOI, an application system could provide all related information for users to make judgments. Once users understand the particular features of components and soldering, definitely they could obtain the correct decision and judgment by viewing the correct angle. The regularity of work tasks attributes to one’s ability which is able to cultivate, develop and well perform.

 

[Basic Program]

Therefore, when one creates a program; the inventor must make sure that users could be able fully comprehend and well interpret the program when proceeding inspections. Needless to say, such software should embed on users then it will be desirable to SMT industry.
